Peter Philips applied the concept of haute couture to the makeup he created for the Dior runway. “I wanted to create, for more than forty looks, a free variation on eyeliner. It was a challenge to customize the look each time in an unusual and audacious way, creating make-up that was made-to-measure, just like Haute Couture is,” Philips says. The creative director of Dior Make-up adapted striking graphic eyeliner to each model’s eye shape. Alongside DiorShow Pro-liner Pro Black and Diorshow Artpen Catwalk Black, Philips used bold gold on a handful of model to punctuate the looks: “using Dior Addict Fluid Shadow Phenix, applied with a brush in broad gold colour-blocking, to obtain a dramatic, gold, textured effect.”
